Humanitarian Couple of the Year Awards 2010 |

We are happy to provide details of the 2010 Humanitarian Couple of the Year Grand Final. These awards recognise outstanding couples working as humanitarians around the globe. This years awards will be held live in Amsterdam on the 16th of March 2010 and simulcast live to 6 world delegate voting and award party venues.
Each award party venue will have its very own live special artist, party band and DJ to keep the party going long after our humanitarian couple has been chosen. Join us on the night for all the fun. We have an open door policy and plenty of space to accommodate all that want to participate in this very special occasion. Here is our party venue list:
Applications Open Now for 2011 Humanitarian Couple of the Year Awards Applications are also now open for the 2011 awards so If you are or know a couple who have been together for more than 3 months and work for a recognised humanitarian organisation then why not give them the chance to be humanitarian couple of the year.
If you want to nominate yourselves or friends for the award and your organisation is part of the awards then please contact us for an application form. |

Requirements 1. The couple has been together for more than 3 months. 2. Couples work for a recognised humanitarian organisation 3. The couples organisation supports the awards 4. Both have a passport with 4 free pages
The Competition The competition will involve three dress categories a talent competition and a humanitarian quiz. The three dress categories will be: |

Causal wear should include in the ensemble piece the organisations T-shirt. In the holiday/R&R category contestants should develop their design from clothing purchased for less than $10 USD in a developing world market. |

The humanitarian quiz will consist of questions testing the humanitarian knowledge of contestants such as: where was the Biafra civil war, explain the difference between neutrality and impartiality and does the right based approach apply to everybody. |
The Contest Finalists will be flown to Barcelona for the competition and will stay at the exclusive resort of Camping El Toro Bravo.
The contest will be held in the plush Albergue Municipal in downtown Barcelona. |

The audience choice section of the quiz will award couples for the most popular answers to questions such as: if you were being deployed into a new team what presents would you bring (ie. Hello Magazine, Chocolate, cigarettes etc.). |
Comparing next years show is the legendary Siegfried and Roy adding their special magic to the awards. You will also be getting down to the cool sound of ZAPMAMA. |

Competition Prizes The winning couple will being flying Ryan Air from Eindhoven to Szczecin for an all expenses weekend away overlooking the Ode river.
Each female contestants will receive a selection of DEET impregnated products: manicure & make up set, lingerie and swimwear.
Male contestants will receive a all weather headlamp, and humanitarian Karaoke set featuring all your favourite humanitarian songs to keep that you partying all night long.
